Shelalé

Shelalé was inspired by the courage to step beyond the familiar and by the sudden beauty waiting there. Her clear blue colour recalls a waterfall rushing into a foaming sea: bright, energetic and impossible to forget. Hand-painted German Helmbold alpaca is paired with handmade glass eyes and a genuine leather nose; fragrant cedar shavings, buckwheat husks and mineral granules give her a gently weighted, tactile presence. A distressed silk ribbon and a tiny bird brooch complete the composition. Sewn entirely by hand and one of one.
